I mistakenly believed that since I had purchased the CD microsoft office professional plus 2013 product key change free with my copy of Office Pro PlusI could install it on a 2nd computer. After the installation, I was asked for the product key to activate it, and when I entered it, I learned that it could only be used on one computer at a time.

I hit cancel, and I received a message that gave me 30 days before I had to activate the account. While attempting to find an inexpensive solution, I began using all of the programs. I have since set up all of my email accounts as well as templates in many of the other programs. I have a 2nd product key, but I cannot figure out a way to enter the new one. I just keep getting the message about the old one not working.

I tried the control panel, uninstall programs, clicking on the program, and trying to "change" it as /44469.txt to uninstall after reading articles that said this would bring up a screen with the option to change the product key. It only gives options to repair /26930.txt attempted the repair, thinking it might come up as an option. It doesn't.

I don't want to uninstall the program because I will lose all the work I've done. Is there any way to retain my settings and simply enter the new product key? This time, I tried the internet repair after reading another forum. It took a very long time, but when it was all finished, it asked for a product key. I hope this information helps someone that may have the same question in the future.
